Kylie Minogue is set to launch her first fragrance for men Inverse. The fragrance is to be released in august 2009 and is aimed to represent opposites. The fragrance designed for all types of men, ‘Two facets, one scent’.
Kylie has chosen her very own model man Andres Velencoso to front her new fragrance, and in the campaign he is seen both clothed and un-clothed representing that this fragrance can be worn during the day and night. The advert is sexy and powerful in black and white and shows Kylie and Andres Velencoso looking very attractive together moving slowly and seductively.
Kylie has made a great move creating a perfume for all her male fans out there, after releasing many fragrances for women, and a lot of men will be waiting for this in the shops. The notes of this fragrance are lavender, coriander, pepper, cinnamon, mandarin, nutmeg, tonka, and heliotrope. The fragrance is sweet but spicy, soft but strong, and sexy, and is designed to be worn by all types of personalities.
Inverse is presented in a neat bottle. It’s simple yet masculine, again concentrating on opposites. The bottle has a label on both sides representing light and dark a contrast of each other. The bottle is opaque revealing the lavender coloured fragrance, which adds a little extra to its sleek design. Inverse will be available in EDT 50ml. The world will look forward to smelling this one.

Jennifer Lopez is to release her new perfume My Glow later on this year. This new fragrance was inspired by her becoming a mother and her twins.
The perfume is presented in an angelic like bottle ‘every baby is an angel’ with angel wings. The fragrance has notes if Lavender, Water Lily, Freesia, White Rose, Casablanca Lily, Skin Musk, Sandalwood, Heliotrope, and Precious Woods.
My Glow will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Forget anti aging creams, therapies, and surgery, as we now have anti aging perfume. A perfume which is designed to take years off your appearance.
Ageless is a perfume created by Harvey Prince and Co with the concept of reversing the effects of ageing. With this is mind the fragrance is developed with notes of youthfulness including pink grapefruit, pomegranate, mango, jasmine and soft musk.
This perfume is said to be ‘the essence of youth’ it plays around with teenager smells of pink flowers and fruits and memories of playfulness and a younger past. However I don’t think these factors actually reduce the physical affects of aging.
I believe that this was a clever idea though up by someone. Claiming that a perfume will reduce the effects of ageing is bound to create publicity. Now days everyone wants to physically look younger, and the media has made everyone feel insecure and doubtful about naturally aging, making us believe that we must try and proceed with drastic and expensive measures to stop the effects of aging.
If you like the smell of this perfume then fair enough as it is a nice floral citrus scent, but buying this one for its anti aging effect could prove wallet damaging.

Paris Hilton is set to release her 9th perfume this August. Paris has just signed up to another 5 year contract with Parlux Parfumes and is to release many more perfumes and aftershaves before 2014.
The Heiress who had recently scooped top FiFi Award Female Celebrity Fragrance of the Year is set to continue her success with her new fragrance Siren. Other fragrances which she has released are Can Can, Fairy Dust, Paris Hilton, Heiress, and more.
“Siren is all about being sexy in a playful way. I feel irresistible as a mermaid. What girl doesn’t want to have fun being a fantasy creature that men can’t resist?”
Paris’ ad campaign features her as a mermaid topless on a rock with long hair and a sparkly gold mermaid fin.
Siren is said to be a tropical floral fragrance including notes of mandarin, apricot nectar, honeysuckle, coconut orchid, and water lily, with a dry down of vanilla bean and creamy musk.
I’m sure this perfume will do well as Paris has created a lot of publicity and money from all of her previous perfume sales. I’m not too sure about the mermaid in the sun advertisement though. It doesn’t seem to fit in well with the scent of tropical flowers, and the thought of a fish in the sun doesn’t smell very appealing. But if its publicity Paris is after in this one, I’m sure she will only succeed.

Reese Witherspoon is the latest celebrity to launch her own perfume. The legally blonde star is already Avon’s celebrity face is teaming up with Avon’s scent experts to create her own independent fragrance.
The fragrance takes inspirations from her early childhood and will have notes of gardenia, magnolia and jasmine. These are the scents which Reese remembers from her early childhood in Tennessee. She had a beautiful yard, with a huge magnolia tree, that would blossom and gracefully fall every year. This is where the fragrance ‘In Bloom’ comes from. Reese has also said that the fragrance is a reflection of her life at the moment, as she feels strong, independent, and very happy.
The fragrance is due for launch in November and Reese is said to very excited about her latest venture, and is happy that her new fragrance captures all the feelings and memories she wanted to portray.

Burger King… yes that’s right Burger King have launched a new perfume called FLAME.
Flame was launched yesterday; with there own naked celebrity Piers Morgan. The hunky Britain’s got talent judge stripped for the ad, revealing (probably someone else’s) his muscular body with nothing but a velvet robe tied around his waist.
The fast food restaurant joined with Selfridges to sell Flame for as little as £4.99, making this the cheapest celebrity perfume out there.
The ad campaign was revealed in Selfridges in London yesterday, and will be sold in both Selfridges and Red5 shops. Burger King will be presenting large cut outs of Piers Morgan holding the fragrance Flame within 19 of their restaurants. Hummm so if you wanted to, you could go and get a picture taken with him?
The scent is said to have gained a mixed reaction from the public (surprisingly) some are quick to detest it, while others are strangely attracted to it. Flame is said to make the wearer seem more masculine, with its subtle hint of flame grilled meat.
Personally I think it would be best to smell this one without knowing the brand name behind it. I think it would be difficult to like it after you’ve heard it’s a Burger Kings very own fragrance, aiming to make men more masculine by wearing a scent with a hint of flamed grill meat. After all if you want to choose a perfume that smells like a shop you admire, I can be quite sure that a fast food burger restaurant would not be top of your list!

Courteney Cox is launching her new fragrance with Avon this November. This new fragrance is called spotlight, and is her own fresh and clean scent. ‘I like a scent which captures the thrill of being the centre of attention and having all eyes on you’ she tells the Miami Herald.
‘Perfumes can make you feel empowered and special, and I think women need a little of that in their life. Spotlight is a captivating oriental scent that enables all women to feel like a star in their daily lives. Courteney Cox is a well respected actress by both young and older women, and I have no doubt that this fragrance will sell with her admired face behind the scent.
Spotlight will be available in a 50 ml EDT from Avon in November this year.

Sienna Miller has teamed up with Hugo Boss to launch the new perfume called Hugo Boss Orange. The new fragrance will be released over here in July and the product launch took place in Madrid on the5th of June.
The new fragrance is described as sensual and luminous. Sienna Millers casual, Bohemian hippy style matches this fragrances description, creating the perfect fragrance celebrity combination. Thomas Burkhardt of Hugo Boss Fragrances said ‘she truly embodies the sprit of the brand. She is a liberated soul – light hearted, spontaneous and passionate- and she quiet simply wears her heart on her sleeve.
The notes in this scent are apple, orange blossom, jasmine, plum, white peach, vanilla, sandalwood and olive tree. I can’t wait to smell this scent as its description sounds exciting and I can’t wait to try it. Hugo Boss orange will appear in the stores in July this year.
